Get To Know Me

Who Am I?

Artist. Mother. Caregiver. Nurse. Wanderluster. Snapshotter. Paleo Lover. NYC Trotter. Laugher. Sister. Creator. Movie Goer. Magazine Reader. Foodie Reviewer, Jewelry Maker, Artsy Instructor, Retreat Lover, Technology Snob and more....

Do you like my new words? Believe it or not, I'm a grammar-police too! But this is a place for casual documentation. For my sanity and your enjoyment.

I just wanted to post a few pics to introduce a day in MY life. I take most pics with my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 & use Snapseed App to edit. Otherwise, I'm a Canon girl all the way!

Enjoy!

I may have been in a "mood". LOL!

Hope you have enjoyed getting to "know me!"

I'm Back!

For years I have blogged, created, Etsy'd, Ebay'd, Twitter'd, FB'd, art-ed, created, sold, made, posted, promoted and informed.

But then....I took a break. I went back to school and started my career.

Life started looking really different. I was no longer a SAHM, but rather a working Mom. My kids were growing up and transitions were starting.

My old blogs grew dust (MiCasadeArte circa 2000-2008) and my art supplies grew lonely.

I certainly missed those days of old.

And then....life changed...again.

I became a caregiver once again. This time to my Mother with FTD (Frontal Temporal Dementia) who was in need of some tender loving care.

Now, my life has once again come full circle. I care full-time for my Mother while creating next to her as she taught me to do as a child.

I'm back to blog for many reasons.
My art.
My new journey.
My passion for New York City.
My cooking adventures.
My Mother.

Enjoy my posts and feel free to chime in when whim strikes you!
